Kate McCarthy:
Kate has taken on the onerous task of raising money for the campaign. She is the Chairman of Warwick Ward in Pimlico, Kit’s former electoral Ward when he was a councillor, and is also Vice-Chairman of the Cities of London and Westminster Conservative Association.

Kate has taught in inner city comprehensives for over thirty years. She was Head of PE in Tower Hamlets in the 70's and a Senior Teacher in Newcastle, in charge of Exams and Assessments, in the 90's. She has been through nearly every Educational Initiative from the Raising of the School Leaving Age in 1974 through to the establishing of the National Curriculum and all the Vocational Initiatives.

After seven years in Brussels where she was a Careers Counsellor with Focus Career Services, she is now the Link Governor for Creative and Performing Arts at St. Barnabas C of E Primary School.

Pia Tamm:
Pia is the lucky person with the job of coordinating the campaign.

A recent graduate of Leeds University, with an MA with distinction in International Communications, her dissertation was on branding in political campaigns.

Prior to her time at Leeds she was an undergraduate at the University of Erfurt in Germany, receiving a 1st class honours in Communication and Political Science. She was awarded the Communication Student of the Year award for her dissertation on the effects of televised social campaigns.

Aside from her studies she is a talented writer, having freelanced at advertising agencies in her native Germany as well as with the national news media, having several short stories and academic translations published.

Paul Baverstock:
Paul Baverstock has volunteered to provide strategic advice to the campaign. A widely experienced communications professional, he is a former director of strategic communications for the Conservative Party and was previously a senior director at Ketchum PR. Paul now advises countries, businesses and individuals on their media and communication as a senior consultant at Bell Pottinger. A former parliamentary candidate, Paul is a graduate of both Harvard and Yale, and has been a Londoner for many years. He is an avid football fan.
